Bike with Brent received a great recognition this week. This great event was awarded the Cache Chamber of Commerce Community Event of the Year! Brent was present to accept the award at the annual banquet. We are so appreciative and thankful for all of the wonderful community support we receive. We are currently accepting sponsors for this great event. Last year over 850 people participated by biking, running, or walking and we anticipate having many more this year! Sponsors will be included in all of the advertising and social media campaigns, as well as have their logo included on the tshirt. As the weather starts to change and a chill is in the air, we are once again making plans for a very special Christmas celebration for people with disabilities. We hope that you will want to help make this celebration full of warmth and joy through a charitable donation to the Santa Fund at CETC.
Who says there’s no such thing as Santa Claus? This is the 12th year that Janet Flinders (Mrs. Santa) will dedicate countless volunteer hours fundraising, shopping, wrapping gifts, and checking each wish list twice. When you see the joy on each person’s face as they open their presents, you just have to believe in the magic.

United Way, Thermo Fisher, and Steven’s Heneger came to CETC and provided some great volunteer service. They cleaned our buses, helped organize our shed, and painted picnic tables. We really appreciate all you did! We’d like to give a BIG THANKS to everyone who so selflessly gave of their time.

We’re only a few weeks away from this year’s Bike with Brent! We’re so excited for this event. We anticipate this being our best year yet! The main feature is a bike ride with Brent Carpenter. We just go about a mile and a half around the block. Those who want to bike longer can go around the block again and again (Brent usually does)! And if you don’t bike, you can walk, or even push a stroller or a wheechair. The event will also include a bike giveaway (bike donated by Joyride Bikes), a bike polo game between law enforcement and firefighters, bounce houses for the kids, face painting, pie eating contests, food, games, and more!
