Participants of our Day Program come to learn how to work and/or become more independent. Staff (aides) will be responsible for the supervision and coaching of 1 to 2 participants and for accurately completing paperwork regarding their progress. Staff will implement goals in the areas of: independent living, communication skills, social skills,sensory skills, work skills, and educational skills like reading and writing. Daily responsibilities may include: one on one coaching sessions, conducting a group workshop or class, assisting with personal hygiene (adult diapering in some cases), assisting with incidents of aggression, engaging participants in meaningful activities, accompanying groups on community activities, etc. Full time hours are Monday through Friday, 8:45 to 3:15. Part time hours are Mon/Wed/Fri or Tues/Thurs, 8:45-3:15. Use General Application.
